Qld: Disguised woman in counterfeit scam

Police are hunting for a woman who's been wearing a disguise while carrying out a counterfeit
scam in Brisbane.

Security cameras have filmed the woman, who appeared to be wearing a dark wig and sunglasses
and using eight fake $50 notes over the past two days in west suburban Kenmore.

She's believed to be about 40 years old and 168cm tall.

Police are warning business owners to be on the lookout for the counterfeit money,
which closely resembles the genuine notes but tears easily.
